The amount of time that is invested in the infancy stages of commissioning a knife or any piece cutlery can be significant. This fee will be considered a non-refundable deposit for the initial renderings and consultations required to initiate the process. This is the first step in the commissioning for any bladed tool.

Following the transaction - the customer will be prompted to complete a “Commission Contact Form” and can expect to be contacted for further consultation. The conversations will ultimately end in the delivery of a fine piece of cutlery that will last ages if properly cared for.

Due to the dynamics of this business - commissions may not be available if the Smith is currently focusing on other projects or staggering the production, should this be the case - the quantity will be adjusted to zero. We operate on a first come first served basis and any renderings produced will remain the intellectual property of Seacoast Blacksmith.
